Family Session Comments

Throughout the year we have lots of familiy sessions such as Stay and Make, Mathletics Workshops and Literacy Workshops. These sessions enable parents to come into school, spend some time with their child and support their learning through a mixture of different ways.

During each workshop, we often ask parents what they thought of the session, areas for improvements and any comments. Some example of these surveys are found below:

Year 2 Stay & Make Session: 14.10.2016

18 people completed the survey, when asked:

Did you enjoy the activity? 100% said yes

Would you attend another stay and make? 100% said yes

Can we improve our stay and make sessions? 100% said no

Any other comments:

"I have enjoyed being able to sit and do stay and make with my son, each year it gets better and better."

"Really enjoyed this morning, helping children doing their masks"

" Brilliant stay and make, really enjoyed it."

"Thank you for another great stay and make session."

"Kids really enjoyed making the masks together, sharing and having fun."

"We need more stay and make days!"

 

Year 1 Stay and Make Session 13.10.2016

27 people completed the survey, when asked:


Did you enjoy the activity? 100% said yes.

Would you attend another stay and make? 100% said yes.

Can we improve our stay and make sessions?

7% said yes - basics already on the table and more room around the supply area were suggestions to support this.

93% said no

Any other comments were:

" Really enjoyed it :-)"

" It is very worthwhile for the children to work with each others parents / grandparents. Enjoyed it very much."

"Very nice time with the kids."

"Good opportunity to be involved with our child's school."

 

Reception Stay and Make Session 11.10.16

25 people completed the survey and when asked:

Did you enjoy the activity? 100% said yes

Would you attend another stay and make session? 100 said yes.

Can we improve our stay and make sessions?

12% said yes with the queue to get materials was too long and busy and send one table at a time to collect materials given as ways to improve.

88% said no.

Any other comments were:

"This is a lovely opportunity to do an activity with my son and I am really glad I got to do this before I start back at work. Thank you to all the staff x."
