World Mental Health Day is chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about things and get help if you are struggling. As an academy, we have delivered mental health support to staff and now have 2 mental health first aiders in school (Kay Shaw -Lead Mental Health First Aider and Miss Shepherd – Mental Health First Aider) we are also delivering 2 Worry Wizard workshops to the children this year, the first being for world mental health week and the second for children’s mental health week in the new year.
